i have type AB+ blood. i heard it originated when eastern, dairy eating peoples {i.e. Huns and/or mongols} came to Europe and bred with the wheat eating people of the west. somewhere in my bloodline, could i be descended from a Hun and/or mongol?

Have National Geographic test for your DNA Haplogroup for $100...

Most Mongols/Huns were in the M, F or Z Haplogroup family. When you receive your results, there will be literature pertaining to which tribe your "X" and/or "Y" originated...

By the way, only 4% of the world is Blood Type "AB", which is a genetic combination of Blood Types "A" & "B", and you're correct, "B"s were the first consumers of animal dairy products, and "A"s were the first farmers of grain...

You read that from those "eat for your blood type" things I bet... You could possibly trace back a general idea of your ancestry with your blood type, to see where it was more common. But honestly, it's more assumptions and "if"s than an accurate science. And no, eating wheat or dairy doesn't have anything to do with blood type. If you want to know who you are descended from, it's much more accurate to do it through DNA matching and see which population has a gene pool most similar to yours.

The Ainu (Japan) have the highest occurrence of AB blood. Then come Chinese-Peking, Hindus (Bombay), and Gypsies (Hungary).

There's also a general inability to trace one's parentage back more then a few generations, but if you can you'll find connection with most peoples
