Well, I certainly think so, at least in part. Skills do play a huge part--some people have minds that are scientific, some have minds that are linguistic, etc. But within that, whether you're introverted or extroverted, whether you're confrontational or accepting, whether you're controlling or sharing--I would think that would affect what occupation you're drawn to. Example: you may be a word and idea based person who's drawn to communication. OK--but you could be an actor, or a writer, or a teacher, or a journalist....you get the idea. Which is why--I think--it's important to find the job that matches who you are, rather than the one which pays the most money. Because money doesn't necessarily compensate for doing something you're not suited for...
