I don't know about truly "black" caucasians but very dark brown? Absolutely! Most people from India, SW Asia and North Africa are caucasian. Skin color is the very least important criteria for defining race. I would say most Hispanics qualify as white as well. I've always been fond of saying that most of the world's people are people of color and most people of color are, in fact, caucasian! I see your point regarding mullatos but I'd say no more than being considered white negroes.

In a cultural geography class I took, when all the races were examined, people from India would fit that description - many caucasian features with dark skin.

i think thet they might be seen as black in relative way - for example s not Slavs or something like that.. its kind of symbolic blackness - a negative stereotype. Caucasians has dark eyes and eyebrows and hair, but skin is quite pale...

no offense, but there are "black caucasians" they are the ppl who tan way too much, i.e Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, infact many of hollywood's stars are darker than some african-americans, even though i am sure most of them no it causes skin cancer
